Base mix ingredients   BLOOD POWDER (PURIFIED ) Recent animal food industry scares have made it difficult to source mammalian meat products but we can now offer you this highly concentrated blood/haemoglobin powder which has been purified and treated. It has high nutritional qualities and it makes a superb bait ingredient, ideal to aid with binding and hardening and giving a beautiful red finish to the baits. Fish find this almost addictive when used in baits over a long period of time. BLUE CHEESE POWDER Used by many successful anglers over a number of years, this Danish, extra mature blue cheese powder adds a strong savoury taste and aroma to baits which fish seem to detect. When comparing the difference between results of baits which contain around 10% of this powder to baits which, have none added, there is a marked difference in the catch rate. As well as a distinctive stilton-type aroma this powder adds a complex salt profile that has proven to be an effective fish attractor in even the coldest conditions. Can be included in base mixes up to 2 oz/lb. ACID CASEIN 90 MESH This New Zealand, spray dried, food grade Casein is of superior quality to all others we sampled. Being 90 mesh grade, it will make finished baits maintain a semi-soft property when incorporated into a base mix. This casein has a protein content in excess of 90% and is ideal for use in HNV baits where genuine quality is sought. Can be included up to 5oz per lb. WHOLE EGG POWDER This can be used as a direct replacement for Egg Albumen and although it doesn?t supply the same nutritional quality in protein terms, many bait buffs believe that it is more attractive to carp. VANILLA EXTRACT MEAL Natural ingredients are now becoming more and more popular due to their long term effectiveness as genuine fish attractors. Vanilla Extract Meal compliments other high quality ingredients to produce baits which have a superb creamy undertone which is anything but overpowering. It enables baits to carry that subtle vanilla aroma that fish love, but without making them spook by association over a long period of time. This additive has been remarkably successful in testing and has improved catch rates in all seasons.   The database that includes all large freshwater fish worldwide.
